A Study of Security Technology for Smartcard

Abstract

|
This study is to describe security technique of a smartcard as an important security equipment in a recent information network. Smartcard is rising up as a equipment which is excellent in security such as user authentication, access control, and information storage and control. As electronic business transactions are briskly carried on, the possibility of forgery and alteration by network hacking is on the increase because of the mercenary motives. For this reason, I propose a security system equipped with a multiple authentication system to protect forgery and alteration through a study related with security technique of a smartcard.
